In a dominant win over the Sacramento Kings, Warriors shooting guard Klay Thompson set a seemingly unbreakable record.
The sharp shooter scored a whopping 37 points in the third quarter alone, leading Golden State to a 126-101 win after a slow start to the game. Thompson accounts for 37 of the 41 points that the Warriors scored in the quarter and in the final 3 minutes of the quarter, he outscored the Kings 18-3. He ended the game with 52 points in spite of sitting for the last 9 minutes of the game.
